The Weiwaikum Computer Lab is a place where the community as a whole â youth, adults, and elders â are welcome to use the computer services. These services include using the internet, email, writing and printing off documents and resumes, school/business computer work, and learning new computer skills. There is always a certified technician to assist you.
In the past year, there were some major renovations done to the computer lab. These renovations included the addition of new chairs, hardwood floors, and new computers with the latest technology.
The Computer Lab Technician/Supervisor is Shane Roberts; he is a community member and is a certified Computer Technician, Network Technician, Server Technician and a Microsoft Certified Professional. Shane would like to see more interest from the community members towards learning computer skills. For this to happen, he would like to provide some workshops in showing community members how to use and run computers, as he believes it is so important to stay involved with the latest technology.
