Our Membership Clerk, Christine Smith, is the person to contact regarding getting or renewing your status card. Christine works in our Band Office, also receptionist Monday- Wednesday. The range of services she provides is described below, here are some of the key things that you will need to know in order to save you time when you come in to see her.
Status Cards
Status cards are essential documents, both for individual First Nations people and for the bands of which they are members or are affiliated with. Adults renew them every 5 years, children under 16, every 3 years.
Status Cards are done by APPOINTMENT ONLY!

To apply for a status card yourself, or as a parent applying on behalf of a child, we need:
- Two peices of ID required
- One Being a valid picture ID
- Two pieces of government ID (photocopies are not accepted)
- New Issue Fee- $15.00
You can save yourself the delay and frustration by having the above information with you when you apply for a Status Card at our office. Also keep in mind that a Status Card is a “photo ID”, we’ll snap your picture right at the office.
